Hi All!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Hope everyone is doing well, and maybe some people are still reading this although I doubt it. We're right around mid semester right now so everyone has midterms and tons of work. So far I have handed in a lab report and take home test and am working on an essay this afternoon. This weekend was full of events, as usual, including Bunker which was a circus themed party. Bunker was at one point the largest part on the East Coast of Australia, no big deal. Thursday we had an all-college exchange and I got to hang out with some of the Dickinson girls!

Last night, Saturday, we attended a 21st party. Apparently Australians pretend to be cool like Americans and throw big parties for their 21st birthday. It was a really nice event and only 6 of us from IH were invited. It was a family party that was really intimate so it was an honor to be invited! Afterwards we experienced the valley!

We also attended Brisbane's Riverfest Fireworks last night. They were amazing! They set up barges all the way down the river and set fireworks off from the barges and the buildings along the river. The fireworks were choreographed so every barge lit off the same colors at the same time and with music. It was the coolest thing ever! For the finale, the Brisbane Bridge had gold fireworks streaming down into the water from the bridge, spectacular. Im gonna post a video soon! Getting technical on this sucker...
