Went to the AFL Lions football game yesterday. The Brisbane Lions unfortunately lost but it was a close game and really fun. The rules are completely different-its a combination of football and rugby. The players can only go about 5 meters before passing it and they can throw it like a football or punt it like a soccer ball. There's a ton of players on the field throughout the entire game and it looks completely chaotic. There's 3 areas to score-in between the two middle poles is 6 points and in the outer poles is 1 point each. The final score was in the 100's

We had really good seats right behind the scoring area and were basically on the field. I bought a jersey! haha

Last night we learned our "Fresher dance" which apparently we have to perform on a regular basis, good thing i have no rhythm. The dance involves all of the newbies at IH and is to Britney Spear's new song. We also got fresher nicknames, mine is Sparkles...questionable...

Then we headed out to the RE Bar and had a good time to start of o-week. This morning we woke up at 6 am (thats about 3 hours of sleep for me) and learned the rest of the fresher dance. Now we're off to do a scavenger hunt/flash mob around campus with the rest of my housemates.

Later today we have speed dating, couples wars and then an Around the World Party, probs gonna be a leprechaun, naturally.
